It is our pleasure to welcome you to our new home on the web for Rosebuds Kountry Kennel. As you tour our site, you will meet our basset girls, Daisy, Ladybug, and ones I call " My Spice Girls " Cinnamon and Ginger. Bonz is our loveable friendly male that keeps the girls dancing.  Also, you will meet Timmy , our male Pembroke Corgi and Corky my constant companion who loves to ride the ranger as well as  Peaches the friendliest little corgi ever.  Last ,but not least, is our cocker spaniel, Stetson .Each dog will have their own pages with pictures and pedigrees.  New to our family is ROSEBUD'S DOG WHO BARKS our new male basset we call Droopy. We will be featuring him as our new breeding male. He has an outstanding pedigree  with many champions in his background. We are so anxious to see his first puppies. And Jasmine our new female we will be keeping out of Daisy's litter. She is a true beauty .You will also find information on puppies available, health guarantee,  deposits, pricing and registration.  We are primarily breeders of high quality champion lined bassethounds. We breed our dogs for intelligence, temperment,  to improve the breed standard , for good conformation and a well socialized puppy.    Each and every puppy is very special to us. We are not a backyard puppymill. Our home is located on our beautiful ninety seven acre farm in the Wild Wonderful State Of West Virginia.  We are very conviently located close to the I-77 interchange at Ripley, WV.Our dogs have plenty of room to grow and enjoy themselves.  They enjoy rides on our ranger and a romp at the barn to visit the other  farm animals. Lazing around in the sun  dreaming about our deer and bunnies  to chase is another favorite pastime. I previously worked for a veteranian for several years and have  had the prveilage to learn many of the procedures necessary  to raise  and maintain good healty puppies and adult dogs . I have a routine worming,vaccinating and medical program on all of my animals. I have raised Bassetshounds, Pembroke  Welsh Corgi's,  Cocker Spaniels as well as top of the line registered Quarter Horses and registered Paint Horses. It gives us great pleasure to see the anticipation as families come to pick out their new puppies. We know we have done our job when we see  the joy in their faces as they leave  knowing that our puppies will be well cared for  in their new homes. Our females are introduced to their whelping box two weeks prior to their due date. They are carefully watched for signs of labor. We attentd the birthing of the puppies and check them thoroughly to be sure each puppy is totally cared for at that time.  Special heating pads are located in the whelping box to maintain a constant temperature. All puppies are vaccinated,  and wormed prior to your purchase.  We will spend time with each puppy socializing them for their new families.We will furnish you with your AKC registration form for you to fill out  with your puppys name and other information for you to send in, currently the charge for you to register the puppy is twenty dollors.  Papers need to be sent in as soon as you select a name. Also a complete medical history, health guarantee, puppy starter kit and a toy will be sent home with the purchase of your puppy. If possible some pictures will also be taken for you.We feed PURINA PUPPY CHOW and our dogs are rewarded with Canine Carry OUTS available at Walmart. We use these treats as a reward in training. PLEASE feel free to send pictures of your puppy for the website. We like to see how our puppies grow. Proper nutrition, medical care, exercise, keeping the ears cleaned  and alot of love and attention should reward you with a happy healthy campanion.
